Neville Blackett

Neville holds a Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering, is an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) with the UK Engineering Council and an Associate Member of CIWEM (ACIWEM).  He has over 16 years experience in both the private and public sectors, in both the UK and New Zealand. 

Whilst working on some of the UK’s earliest flood mapping studies, he developed his floodplain mapping, GIS (including digital terrain modelling), CAD and hydraulic modelling skills.

In more recent years, he has carried out water supply modelling (from initial model build to scenario planning) and utilities asset management.  As such he has developed a keen eye for complete and accurate asset data.  He is able to draw on his CAD, GIS and general database/IT skills to ensure these datasets are manipulated in an optimum manner.
